By now, you should know that the main currency of the game is gold, the currency used to hire and level heroes. Gold is gained normally from Monsters, and the value is increased for a Boss level. Gold gain can be increased with Mammon, Ancient of Greed.

Every hero has a certain starting cost and starting DPS, which can be increased by Upgrades. These upgrades can boost their own DPS, global DPS, gold gain, or unlock skills.
